Doesn’t it make you feel better
I was recently told that a friend of the family is very impressed by mine and my wife’s parenting skills. I’m sure that that opinion probably changed today some, due to a problm the eldest one caused, but is not the biggest concern. She was being overly rough in her play, because people were over, and ended up biting my leg enough that it hurt. So I sent her to her room brielfy, and tried to talk it out with her. No dice…and thus, three hours were spent arguing while she had a tantrum for overdoing it and being treated like the 10-year old child she is.
The point, however, is that I hate compliments on my parenting. I am not the worst parent, but I certainly could be much better. I wish I was and hate part of myself for being such a crap father.

As I mentioned, I was using song references for titles for my different posts. The “answers” for January are behind the break.

(Was playing a cover of it with my Uncle.)

They’re a pretty good reflection of the music I was listening too and the mood I was in when I posted. I also considdern them all good songs and worth referencing. I rarely reference music I hate unless it absolutely fits the situation perfectly.
